The purpose of the PNN is to inform Washington State pesticide users of registration and label changes for products of interest to agriculture. The system does this by distributing information to commodity/commissions, growers and grower groups, Extension personnel, and others involved in Washington State's diverse agriculture. The system currently distributes information to more than 280 subscribers.

The PNN distributes information both by e-mailing PNN notifications and via this web page. Copies of all PNN notifications, as well as electronic copies of SLNs and Section 18s, are posted on the PNN web page. Previously distributed PNN notifications can be searched by year, crop, and/or keyword.

The PNN is a free service available to anyone interested in Washington agriculture. The PNN is funded by the Washington State Commission on Pesticide Registration and is operated by Washington State University.
